Why We Started Climbing Roofs in Central Florida
We started Orlando Top Roofers in 2015 after watching too many homeowners in Audubon Park and Conway get burned by out-of-state crews who showed up after a hurricane, collected a deposit, and disappeared. We were already licensed — Florida #CCC1334821 — and working local jobs. We decided to build something rooted here.
Central Florida's weather is unforgiving. Summer afternoons drop four inches of rain in forty minutes. August winds off the Gulf load roofs in ways a Northern-trained crew won't anticipate. We've pulled shingles in Azalea Park and found decking that rotted because the previous installer skipped the drip edge on a low-slope section. That's the work we document and fix.
Eleven years in, we're certified installers for GAF, Owens Corning, and CertainTeed — not because it looks good on paper, but because those certifications require us to install to manufacturer spec and back it with a written workmanship warranty. Every job ends with a photo report. We earned a 4.9-star average across 209+ Google reviews by treating a $4,000 re-roof in Pine Hills the same way we treat a $40,000 full replacement in Winter Park.
